and one of my mutuals on ig just got to 10k and posted a sketch for people to colour,, so i decided to colour it bc it seemed fun
it turned out really nice,, i love the locks

i'm doing some design thingies based on three words that people suggested.
this one was gooey, milky and crystals.
i think it turned out pretty good, although i haven't really drawn like big crystal formations
so hopefully if i draw her more over time i'll get better at drawing her arms

i'm trying to get back into doing proper practice n stuff bc i feel like my improvement has slowed down recently.
i rlly wanna start working on foreshortening. hopefully i'll be able to work my way up to extreme foreshortening. rn i'm still having trouble with simple foreshortening like this. also i thouhgt it would be good practice to try out colours that also indicate depth ??

i really wanted to make a big pic of mercy, but i have so much trouble shading light skin tones and colours, so it took way more thought
so it's taking a long time to finish

yeah, i gotta say i have a lot of trouble not only with backgrounds but simply putting down a flat colour that covers the whole canvas.
i would love to work on it though,, so thanks for the motivation!!
in a lot of my simple illustrations, i think that the white background leaves much to be desired.

coloured in that sketch,, i really need to work on colouring in light skin
it gets harder the lighter it is aaaaaahhhhhh

garnet based on an old sketch i found. it's from like 2015 but the hair style was really cool
i like the colours, wish i could have put a bit more interesting colours in the shadows though?
i'm still practising making my shading more colourful, it's kinda hard.

also a thing i want to work on,, painting more from shapes.
this was just a quick thing i did more as a reminder for me to do it than an actual practice, but it still looks okay!

but i also have a lot of things that i want to draw so i guess i put it off unfortunately.

Love the colors you use in your work! I have a weak spot for warm purples.
