not the best with painting eyes, started with the sketch painted in greycale over it, then just decided to wing it and went with no sketch for the bottom 2 and went back and painted over the sketch again for the one on the top right.

I have a really hard time sticking to just one subject to study, it's so frustrating! Like I'll be like "OK, I'm going to do value studies" but then I'll get bored and be like "ohh I really need to get better with male figures, and hair, and I could really use a construction/form refresher" or I'll just go back to drawing the same things I always do Wish I could just hunker down with one subject bc I'm not really improving and haven't in a while, I miss the "ahh-haa!" moments. but as always, I don't know what to stick to -_-
I'm just frustrated at the moment, my lack of creative ideas is frustrating, my inability to finish pieces is frustrating, my lack of skill compared to others my age(or younger) is frustrating, my constant procrastination of studying is frustrating, ART IS FRUSTRATING!

Feet are difficult, they are similar too hands in a lot of ways.

I've been doing the 100 hand challenge. it's been a struggle and I am kinda questioning my decision, is it worth it? am I learning anything? could my time be better spent working on something else? but I'm almost half way through so do I really want to quit now? idk...

thanks. i'm just not sure i've gotten that much out of it, except maybe pain and persistence haha. Tomorrows the last day so I'm not stopping now but I do wonder if all of it was worth it.

Oh nice studies! really like the colourful faces a few posts ago.
About the hands, they are looking good to me. But because you wonder whether you learn anything out it... did you try to break the hand down into basic shapes? It looks to me like you're going for the outlines straight ahead. To draw simple shapes and build up the actual thing on top usually helps to better understand proportions and to memorize...

I haven't posted in months... whoops haha. I got stuck in another rut with art and was struggling to find the motivation to just keep myself drawing every day, let alone study.
Because of that I haven't improved much, if at all.
sooo enough of my excuses, I don't have much worth sharing but here're some sketches from the past couple months:

Mermaids aren't something i usually draw but it was for /r/sketchdaily. I drew a merman too but it's too big and I cbf resizing.
