Subject title: wannabe's sketch dump

[place introudction here]

After lurking this forum for some time (long enough to tell) i decided to expose some of my scribbles despite neverending embarassment.

Here goes nothing.

I asked because of "Here goes nothing." =D

Hey you doing great! How long are you drawing?

I like your face study with the shadows! Shows that you have a feeling for it!

For my shame long enough (even studied drawing via college) but didn't make any vissible progress back then.

And that piece was copied from some youtube speedpaint video, i don't even remember a person represented.

hmmm even if it is copied it is good if u keep in mind to learn about face proportions and anatomy. So great job at that.
I really would like to see more drawings.

What is your goal now?

Hey, welcome to the forum! I really like your sketches so far, and yeah... faces are indeed hard. Keep at it, though! :)

Haha! I really like how you made the staplers into a creature thing. It makes me feel like there really is life in everything

Everything else is pretty good!
Keep it up mayne!

Great looking stuff! Your figures are coming along nicely and i agree, faces ARE hard, but your are coming along nicely there too :). One thing I would point out is be careful when drawing the lines separating the teeth. You don't have to draw a solid line to show the separation between each tooth, but rather ease up on the line weight and it should be enough. Otherwise, keep up the great work!
I too mainly draw girls.

Glad to see you're keeping up the hard work. Your stuff looks great! I definitely think your work could benefit from having a stronger understanding of form - these two videos helped me a ton in that regard: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=3uEtdDvK6Xo&t=406s and https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=V3WmrWUEIJo.

I like the Snail-girl. Does she have a story to go with her?

Big thanks. Not so great but i feel something's changing.

Peteman22 wrote:I like the Snail-girl. Does she have a story to go with her?

Why is it a girl in the first place? Maybe the face is cute a bit. Huh, that is not a haircut (like padme's), it's a snail's-shell helmet or smth like that.
And there is no any plot, just a random scene from imagination.
Here's some more of them
