Subject title: Archon`s Sketchbook

Hey guys, I decided I`ll create a sketchbook of my own, I hope I`ll be able to upload stuff from time to time.

Image

This is the first time I`m using the lightning technique which Sycra explained and I LOVE it, though the results aren`t all brilliant for now and I`m not absolutely sure I`m using it 100% right, but I`ll get the hang of it I hope.
Usually I have big problems with sketching the arms and legs of creatures since I can`t find the -balance-. That -curve- agains -line- thingy...

/also a question while I`m at it - when I upload new stuff in the -critique- section, should I create a new post, or a new topic?/

Welcome, and nice start to your sketchbook! Post a new topic when you want a new critique in the critique section, that way people know your posting a new image, and not just replying to old comments. :D

I`ve got ALOT of studies I haven`t uploaded, but this is the most recent one which is a part of a series of studies. Some are -very very- rough and some have made it into full rendered concepts (as much as my skill lets me render them)

will upload more if I don`t forget.

thats a pretty nice piece there. one thing i think you could fix is his right foot, try to imagine a line going from his heel to the camera; it is out of perspective, but not too bad; great rendering though!

Thank you, Fedodika, always nice to hear good feedback ^^

OK, so here`s the so called "Untitled Series", it`s kinda old but I decided to post it anyway. What the Untitled series aims to do isn`t a finished image - they are all sketchies which train me on how to use pose/value/and fast colouring. Also design but that stays on the second row. At the moment I`m working on some more finished pieces so I won`t be doing Untitled series, but as soon as I`m done I`ll start again and I`ll upload.

Thank you :)
I recently finished the 13th Untitled which is kind of different, inspired by Feng Zhu`s http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=9FGCClodLUE

I just doodled some random shapes and created creatures out of them. I seem to love that way of working so I guess I`ll be doing some more of those in the near future.

I`ve only been waiting for myself to finish something to upload for the sketchbook, usually I think that finished pieces shouldn`t be here and the crappy anatomy studies for 30 sec each shouldn`t get in as well and I haven`t done many sketchbook concepts ...
So with this update

Vegetation Concepts.png

I`d like to say

an enormous THANK YOU SO MUCH T.T :D to Nyss, Kuronuma, Osjey, benco42, Chameleon and wartynewt !! When I read that my work is "Inspiring" ... it REALLY motivates me to work to such extent nothing else could...
