I really like the stylised fur you did. It's very nice!

I wasn't fond of any of the pages of form studies that I did today, but I decided to post one so I could track my progress.

Since I'm not entirely confident in being able to draw tiger heads from every angle, I practiced some more today. Maybe tomorrow I'll start with expressions or exaggerations.

Woww You have a real knack for colors! you're latest fur textures are really amazing. Even your early stuff when you weren't following Sycra's color wheel- desaturation rules are really something. Also your drawings seem to be really strong, have you tried applying your anatomy methods to humans?

@rmEcho ohhhmygosh I appreciate you saying that so much! I've never though that I've been good at colours or anything, I'll be putting more focus into that in a few months. I tried human anatomy a looong time ago, abandoned it, and picked up studying seriously at the beginning of the summer again. I haven't moved on to human anatomy yet, because I'm not entirely proud of my tigers. I figure that human anatomy, or anatomy of any animal, should be easier to learn once I've learned it before with a different subject. I wanted to start learning with something that I love and won't get bored with. Humans are next on my bucket list ;)

Thank you for that nice comment, again. :D

I just made a schedule for myself that spans the length of 24 months. Starting now, for 6 months, I will put all my focus into anatomy (be it facial, human, or animal).

Every week I'm going to push myself to fill as many pages as I can. This week is tiger heads.

I love your sketching style and the shapes are really flowy and appealing. Have you any big projects planned, such as paintings or the like? o3o

@NesoKaiyoH Thank you so much! Nah, I don't have any projects planned because I'm still working on the fundamentals, and I want to get anatomy down before I stray off and learn values or color. I think I learn better that way; to focus on a single thing at once.

For the longest time, I've been trying to evade putting eyebrows on tigers because I thought it would make them too cartoony.
Finally forced myself to add brows and hair.
So happy.
