Some studies.

Image

Image

From imagination. Sometimes I looked at other artists such as Yoshitoshi ABe and tried to draw my own faces in their style.

Image

I cant' wait to finish all my things-to-do for today and draw more. I have forgotten that feeling already because of past two weeks of practically no drawing.

I think I'm at last back to everyday drawing after 3 or 4 weeks of slacking off. Feels good.
Dump of latest stuff.

Random faces from imagination.

Image

Here I tried to draw quickly and without thinking much. Result is meh.
I'm so bad at drawing poses from mind. It's frustrating and I don't know what to do with that. Except for keeping drawing, of course.

Image

Eyes practice.

Image

Copies of Yoshinari You.

Image

Gestures. I think I've forgotten how to do them.

Image

And some faces form photos. Well, Space Dandy is not form photo.

Thank you. It's very important for me to hear such kind words because I'm very frustrated with my skills right now.

Thanks! They seem ok to me too now :) But the process was, how do I say that, not as "flowing" as usual, and I had to force myself through it and was feeling pissed. Well, I guess it happens! :)

Thanks! It's not really "my" style, I just saw how another russian artist do this (Ilya Kuvshinov or kr0npr1nz, check him, he's awesome) and decided to try it myself. I do it a bit differently so I think it's not a big deal if I stick to this style for a while :D

Thanks! Yeah, I'm trying to go away from those manga/anime-ish eyes that I have always drawn and go for more realistic but stylised look. More like american comics, I guess.

explosivedesign
Thank you, it's good news :D
