Looks good! I think you could consider working a bit more on her lips, the shape look a bit odd (or maybe just for me) and they should be a bit high (closer to her nose). Just some loose suggestions ;)

Thanks! Yeah, lips are definitely off. Maybe I repaint the face completely today.

Ok, now it looks a bit better, I think.
Trying to get into the habit of constant mesuring angles and stuff.

You have 12 pages in a month and planning to work even harder? It's scary man, I'll have to forget about sleep to match this speed! :D
And thanks!

Studied some shots from Italian project "Gigah Man". They are already very dynamic and I tried to push them even more.

I like the portraits you've done in the kr0npr1nz style. tbh, when I saw your work on the brown backgrounds, I didn't recognize it; it looked like your own! I really like his work, too, and follow him on every blog/tumblr he has. The study of the woman's face you did at the end was great. Ambi had good insights about studying the original photo and recurring images kr0n uses which I hadn't even thought of, so that comment was helpful to me, as well.

I also like Shiina Ringo. I haven't listened to her in years; since like the early 2000s. I loved her "Tsumi to Batsu;" gonna add her into my playlists again. She and Ayumi Hamasaki.

Thanks for the comment!

>I didn't recognize it; it looked like your own!

It's great to hear it, because I feared that I become a copycat if I would study someone's style too much.

She has tons of awesome stuff now. I don't even know what song or album I like the most. And her band "Tokyo Jihen" is great too, too bad it has broken up.
I like "evolution" from Ayumi Hamasaki.

For ones like these,

It looks as if you're using a brush with no pen pressure; just max opacity. (Like in the hair and lineart) Is that so? Or do you just go over them a lot?

For these I use hard brush with shape dynamics, max opacity. Eraser is the same.
I also have to set tip feel to more firm in my wacom settings for such drawings, because I tend to press on my pen pretty hard.

Ok, I'll give it a shot; I usually just draw with the soft round and minimum transfer to 3% opacity jitter. My lines are light and I tend to press lightly, so... yeah. Thanks for the tips!

Suddenly, doodles! Need to do more drawings from imagination.

Shot from "Lost in translation". I started it yesterday and painted for more than half of a day today. Main problem was proportions and placement of face features. Even with measuring it's freaking difficult. Oh well, I just need to practice harder.
Maybe I colour it tomorrow.

Wow that's really good, I think the facial features are fine but the upper arm looks too big making the lower arm smaller

Thanks. Features were really bad for the most part of the time, but somehow in the end I managed to place them right :) I'll revisit it today and see what I can do with the arm.

Porter
Thank you!
