Subject title: Khayria's Sketchbook

Hello c:
Call me Khayria, I am 16 years old and live in germany. I have been drawing all my life, I don't really remember when I got "serious". Im thinking about becoming a professional, so feel free to critique my work or give me some tips :)

This was just a little portrait where I tried to go more into semirealism (I drew almost only manga before that; even though as a kid I (tried to) draw realistically)
Image

With this picture I tried to do a thumbnail first and then work the design out. I just finished it today and decided to open a sketchbook here :)

Hey, welcome to the forum!
I really like the hair on the portrait, very nicely done in my opinion.
The pose in the second drawing is a little bit stiff though.
You're REALLY good for your age btw, keep on doing what you're doing girl! ;)

Wow, looks like you're killing it so far. I think moving forward you should work on your material rendering, but it's really good stuff already :).

eeeh.... I'm sorry that I didn't post for so long XD Its just that I'm slow as f*ck so I didn't finish another piece, and I didn't want to post too much without showing new pictures... But now I've got some sketches of the "100 sketches a week" challenge... But in my case it turned out to only be half ^^"

Haha, it's worse for me man, so many young people that are better than me; It's scary to think where their art skill will be when they're my age  .

Oh my god, you're incredible. Your studies are really well done, and so are your more complete pieces. I'm so jealous right now. How long have you been doing art?

Thank you for your feedback c:

I've been drawing a lot all my life, I think it might have helped that I started with drawing realistic animals from observation and only got into Manga/Anime later.

Great job with the studies. I really like your color choices and especially the hair in your earlier posts. I am a big fan of that kind of art nouveau look.

Kilhwch: Thanks, that was actually pretty suprising as I think colours are my weak spot XD I'm glad that you like them :)

This picture is some kind of Art Trade/Gift ^^ I really had to get out of my comfort zone in this one (it took very long, too).

Wow, that´s amazing, even though the upper legs seem a bit too short.
